Pizzaiolo
We are looking for people who want to be part of a dynamic pizza team and wish to test life in Henningsvær and Lofoten.
Our
Italian dough recipe, passed down three generations, undergoes a cold and slow
fermentation process, resulting in a unique taste – a crunchy crust with a soft,
slightly doughy interior.
Baked in our distinctive firewood oven constructed with recycled bricks, sourced from the factory's original chimney, each pizza bears a mark of history. Despite the challenges of island life in the Arctic, we strive to source our ingredients regionally and sustainably, collaborating with local farms.
Cooking exclusively with wood and fire adds a special touch. Our commitment
extends to slow-roasting many ingredients in our brick oven for an extra roasted and
smoked flavor. During peak days, we serve an impressive 200-300 pizzas
daily, underscoring the dedication and hard work involved.
What's included in the role

Setting up the pizza house for the day and clean it down by the end of the day, while ensuring all stations are always well-equipped for the shifts.
Help keeping workstations and other areas at the factory clean and sanitized to uphold hygiene standards.
Operate the pizza oven and other kitchen equipment effectively.
Bake up to 8 pizza orders simultaneously, while maintaining high quality and consistency in taste and presentation.

Coordinate service to facilitate a seamless flow between the pizza staff and the bar staff.

Responsibility for cleaning and preparing the prepping list for the next day.
What we expect from you- Skilled in operating wood-fired ovens and preparing pizza dough.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure without compromising the quality of the product.
- Skilled in leading a small team and maintaining a good workflow.
- Good with handling responsibility.
- You are passionate about high-quality pizzas and food.
- You are a structured, motivating and eager to learn and contribute to the success of Trevarefabrikken.
We Offer

Wor from middle of August until October. Possibility to start earlier and work longer can be discussed during hiring process if desirable.
Part time to full time position, with minimum 50%, depending on your wish and our needs. This will be clarified during the hiring process.
