Bartender - June - August

The bar team at Trevarefabrikken is now looking for new co-workers. If you have a passion for a fast workpace, serving quality food & drinks, and want to experience Henningsvær in the heart of the Lofoten Islands, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for experienced and skilled bartenders with an eye for good customer service. Our bartender is often the first face our guests meet when visiting Trevarefabrikken, so ability to answer all kinds of questions, help with sauna or hotel check-ins is part of the job.

At Trevarefabrikken we are a big group of friends and colleagues enjoying the island life. We work, hike, climb, surf and watch endless sunsets together. It’s a social place where you’ll make new friends and create lasting memories both inside and outside of work.

The work includes

  • selling and serving our diverse products - both drinks and food. 
  • helping our guests choose the right products according to their wishes (with wines for example).
  • keeping Trevarefabrikken a warm and welcoming place for everyone at all times
  • keep the working area and storage organized and well-stocked 
  • support your co-workers in the other departments, when needed. We like to work as a team!

You

  • are passionate about high-quality drinks and food.
  • have minimum 1 year relevant experience from bars or restaurants.
  • enjoy meeting new people and providing a good service and guest experience.
  • thrive in a busy and hectic environment.
  • are an initiative, structured and responsible worker.
  • are a motivating and supportive co-worker.

The job

  • requires you to be available from June until September. 
  • will be minimum 30 hours per week and most likely more in high season. 
  • in Henningsvær is often changing with the seasons in both weather and visitors, so flexibility when it comes to tasks and workload is expected.
