The café team at Trevarefabrikken is looking for a new café manager from August this year. Do you have a passion for high quality coffee and making people the best version of themselves as a manager? We’re looking for a skilled barista with an eye for good customer service and a passion for leading. The work is varied through out the year with the summer as peak season. You will be working close with our bar, restaurant, kitchen and hotel, so being a team player is an important must.

At Trevarefabrikken we are a big group of friends and colleagues enjoying the island life. We work, hike, climb, surf and watch sunsets together. It’s a social place where you’ll make new friends and create lasting memories both inside and outside of work.

The work includes

• making, selling and serving quality coffee along with other drinks, pastries, and food from our kitchen
• keeping Trevarefabrikken a warm and welcoming place for everyone at all times by making sure our guests feel well looked after by a friendly face
• keeping the cafe clean, organized and well stocked with the necessary ingredients and supplies from our storage
• supporting your co-workers in other departments when needed. We like to work as a team!
• making shift plans
• stock management and orders
• manage the hiring process for the season
• create a good and healthy work environment

You

• are passionate about high quality coffee and food
• have a minimum of 1 year relevant experience as a barista
• enjoy meeting new people and always try to provide the best service and create a positive guest experience
• thrive in a busy and hectic environment
• are an initiative, structured and responsible worker
• are a motivating and supportive leader
• like to work with people and to create a good and healthy work-environment
• enjoy taking responsibility and are self driven in your work

The job

• requires you to be available here in Henningsvær year round. Starting in the first half of August 2025
• will be an 80% position on average. More hours will be made in the summer, in the winter probably less. This can be discussed further during interviews
• in Henningsvær is often changing with the seasons in both weather and visitors, so flexibility when it comes to tasks and workload is expected
